The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Marybas Consulting Firm, has issued a categorical statement clarifying allegations made against him regarding the Naze Industrial Layout. The statement denies allegations that he promised the former Imo State Commissioner for Industry, Mines and Solid Minerals, Rt. Hon. Ernest Ibejiako, 50 Million naira and 20 plots of land at Uhuelu Umuezuo Ancestral Land (plot 30 Naze Industry Layout).
The MD/ CEO spoke exclusively to dailynewsalert. net concerning publication made through the online platform, through a telephone chat in Owerri, in his statement the development expert described the allegations against as "height of falsehood" and accuses the accusers of being "pathological liars" and "real land grabbers" who are desperate to grab government-acquired land. The statement emphasizes that the land belongs to the government and that the company has not promised any money or land to the former commissioner.
He asserts in his that the land was duly acquired by the Imo State government during the tenure of Late Sam Mbakwe and that there is a government white paper capturing it. The company claims it is only working on the land as part of the government's land recovery agenda and that it has not engaged in any wrongdoing.
The Owner of Marybas also addresses allegations of police brutality, denying that no such incident occurred and challenged the accusers to provide evidence of wounds or machete cuts. The company claims it has taken steps to protect its workers and that the police are present in the area to maintain peace and order.
Marybas revealed that the Obichere family had previously had their land recovered by the government and that they had begun construction on the land without permission. He claims that the current dispute is being fueled by two families who are fighting against the government's acquisition of the land, namely Obichere and Njoku families.
His statement calls for an investigation into the allegations and challenges the accusers to come forward with evidence to support their claims. The Chief Executive Officer of the company maintained that he has acted in accordance with the law and that it will continue to work with the government to develop the Naze Industrial Layout.
