Nigeria will witness mother of all protest if Nigeria INEC rigs 2027 General Elections- Ex PDP Chair

 


‎The former Lagos State chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who is now a chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), said Nigerians will not remain silent if votes are manipulated.


‎Shelle stated that any attempt to cheat or rig will provoke a strong reaction from the people.

‎He explained that citizens may not stay quiet if they feel their rights are stolen.

‎According to him, the form of reaction cannot be predicted, but it could lead to unrest

‎Shelle reminded INEC that Nigeria has changed, he said that hunger and hardship have made many people more determined to defend their rights.


The ADC  chieftain ‎He added that the days when leaders could rig elections and get away with it are gone.

‎Shelle advised INEC to rely on electronic transmission of results. He said this system will help to check manipulation.

The former PDP chieftain, urged political parties to keep their own copies of results.

‎According to him, this will allow Nigerians to compare figures and expose fraud.

‎He reminded INEC that Nigeria has changed, he said that hunger and hardship have made many people more determined to defend their rights.

‎Stressing the plans to vehemently oppose rigging he noted that citizens will detect fake outcomes and will not accept them.

‎He cautioned that such a move could trigger protests across different states.
