The Owerri Eye Care Professionals Lions Club International, a pioneering club of eye care professionals, officially installed its charter president, Lion Dr. Chigozirim Chidimma Nwosu, and other club officers on Sunday, 9th November, 2025, at the Tripod by Pedestal Hotel, Owerri. The event, which was attended by dignitaries and guests, marked a significant milestone in the history of Lionism in Nigeria.
The installation ceremony was performed by the District Governor, District 404A2, Lion Pastor Ezikiel Umoh, who was represented by Lion Charles Itu, a past District Governor.
