Former Executive Chairman of Owerri, West LGA, Hon. Ordu Chidi Anthony, popularly known as Madoka has eulogised IMO State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma for his approval to demolish shanties in the capital terroritory, stating that it has exposed criminal hideout and reduced insecurity in the state.

His move is a step towards reducing insecurity as the demolished shanties were reportedly hotbeds of criminal activity, including drug peddling and gun running.
The strong supporter of APC said by dismantling these hideouts, the government has taken a significant step towards restoring peace and tranquility in the state.
Hon. Ordu believes this action will go a long way in making Imo State a safer place for residents, noting that with crime rates on the rise, the government's decision to tackle the root causes of insecurity is a welcome development.
