International businessman and philanthropist, Citizen Akirika Okoro, has greeted the people of Imo State and all Nigerians on the occasion of Nigeria’s 65th Independence Day Anniversary.
In his Independence Day message, the Owerri Nchi-ise born Political Operator said, *“Umunnem Na Umunnam Ndimo and Fellow Nigerians, Today is the beginning of a New Month, October, and beginnings in our various lives, and most importantly, today is our Independence Day Anniversary”.*
*“Our journey as a Nation has been characterized with many challenges and trials, which brought out the resilient Spirit of Persistence, Perseverance, Ruggedity and Industry".*
“The profound vision and mission of our founding fathers of building a society where truth, peaceful coexistence, love, fairness, freedom, equity and justice reigns are yet to be fully achieved".
“Nevertheless, As we celebrate 65 years of Nationhood today, let us reflect as a people on the journey so far, as we collectively continue to build and develop Nigeria of our dream".
“Ndimo Nwem, the foundation of our dear State has been laid, both by the previous Administrations and the current leadership in the state, led by our dear Governor, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma".
“It is not in doubt that a brighter future awaits us in Imo, if we collectively queue into the current vision of Shared Prosperity Leadership, and ensure that this Prosperity gets to the doorstep of every home in the State".
"Just yesterday, being 30th of September 2025, landmark projects were commissioned by Mr President, which included : Assumpta Flyover, World Class International Conference Centre, Roads etc. Before now, other landmarks projects have been built and commissioned. These have gone a long way to confirm that we are getting closer to the promised land.
