Rivers State, suspended Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, has decided to seek the face of God as he continues to face suspension, following state of emergency declared by the Federal Government due to political tension in Rivers State.
The masses has viewed the presence suspended Rivers State Governor, Similayi Fubara at the Global Headquarters of Salvation Ministries on Sunday as he worshipped with Pastor David Ibiyome at the church premises in Government Reserved Area (GRA) of Port Harcourt as a deliberate move to seek the face of God for divine intervention.
The governor was accompanied by a delegation of political allies and key stakeholders, including the former Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Tammy Danagogo, and his son.
In their company were the Chief of Staff, Dr. Edison Ehie; Senator Adawari Michael Pepple; Ambassador Oji Ngofa; Hon. Damiete Herbert Miller; Dr. Tamunosisi Gogo-Jaja; Hon. Nname Robinson Ewor; Chief Adokiye Amiesimaka; and Chief Ambrose Nwuzi.
There were prominent personalities such as Chief Hanny Woko, Chief Oris Onyiri, Chief Mike Elechi, Amaopusenibo Fubara Hart, Chief Theodore Georgewill, and Amaopusenibo Boma Brown, among others.
The visit to Salvation Ministries is viewed as a move for divine intervention, a divine gesture and a symbolic moment of reflection amid the governor's ongoing political challenges.
Fubara participated actively in the service, joining thousands of worshippers in prayer and thanksgiving, reinforcing his faith and connection with the people.
