Luwe Nneiri autonomous community presents Eze -Elect Sir Chamberline Okechukwu Ekejiuba to Isiala Mbano LG Chairman

   The Eze- Elect of Luwe Nneiri Umuduru autonomous community in Isiala Mbano Local Government Area, Sir Chamberline Okechukwu Ngozi Ekejiuba has expressed his determination to continue to extend his hands of benevolence to the less privileged people in his community and intensify  community development efforts if confirmed and given staff of office 

    Sir  Ekejiuba stated this in an interview with newsmen on the occasion of his presentation as the new Eze-Elect to the Executive Chairman of Isiala Mbano LGA, Evang Chika Okoroike

   He noted that he feels glad for being chosen by his family to replace his  late cousin Eze, GBC Ekejiuba,  to take the mantle of Ezeship to lead the community, pointing out that as a Christian, he is going to carry his subjects along in the scheme of things.

   He also revealed that with the support and assistance of his wife Lady Rose Nneka Ekejiuba, he has made several positive and remarkable achievements in his community in the areas of giving scholarship to students because education is the key to success, giving empowerment to youths and assisting the less privileged. He noted that their late father instilled the value of humanitarianism in all his children , pointing out that they have a foundation called Ehuzie foundation they named after his late father to give scholarship to the less privileged, describing his late father as a lover of education. According to him, his  late younger brother, Late Chief Anaele Ekejiuba Singlehandedly built St Andrew's Church, Luwe Nneiri and gave an assurance that they will keep on helping people and their community, while calling on the well- to- do in society to always help the downtrodden.

   The royal father who recalled that his late father, Pa E E Ekejiuba always told his children to keep the flag of his humanitarian service flying, also noted that he felt good seeing himself following his late father's footsteps, he promised to  lead the community with honesty, service, loyalty and dedication and also do the best he can do to ensure the growth and development of Luwe Nneiri Umuduru, assuring that he will never disappoint them.

    He expressed delight that his people brought him out as their Eze-Elect and promised that he is going to lead them well and make them proud.

   The monarch noted that he is qualified for the position because he has foresight, he is industrious, intelligent, efficient, knowledgeable and examplary, stressing that these qualities are the ingredients for excellent leadership, and appealed to the people of the area to give him their maximum support.

   The Eze-Elect also revealed his plans to attract developmental projects to his community so that his subjects would benefit from both state and federal government largesse, as well as enjoy dividends of democracy from government.

  He further promised to ensure that the peace and unity existing among the people of  Luwe Nneiri are sustained throughout his reign, pledging also to settle disputes among his subjects, if any, so that with togetherness and peaceful atmosphere, the growth and development of the community would be achieved.
  
   Addressing the people on the occasion, the Chairman, Isiala Mbano LGA, Evang Okoroike noted that creation of autonomous communities leads to development because government largesse is shared community by community,  adding that as far as an Eze Elect is qualified according to government criteria, nothing stops him from being a traditional ruler.

   According to the Chairman of the local government, any community that brings an Eze Elect, we have no right to reject such presentation,  there is no reason to turn them down.

   He emphasized that an Eze Elect is not yet an Eze until he is confirmed and given staff of office, noting that there is no person or group that will prevent him provided that he fulfills all that is required, and advised the people of Luwe Nneiri to pray for their Eze-Elect and the community so that the presentation will be  fruitful, expressing the hope that at the end of the day , they will succeed.
