Every sitting  State Governor has greater chances to anoint and influence who replaces him in office after the end of his tenure, the power of a sitting governor to champion his successor cannot be taken with a kids glove.

In a similar manner, every sitting governor has what it takes to frustrate,  stop or destroy chances of any political office seeker  he does not want him to be his successor.

Although there are  some cases, where a sitting governor has failed in his vehement moves to stop ,  frustrate or destroy the chances of a political office seeker, he does not want to succeed him.

The case of a former  River State Governor, Rt.Hon.Chibuike Amaechi and Nyesom Wike was a good example but the reality of the matter is that Rt.Hon. Amaechi failed to stop Wike, simply because of mighty influence of then PDP led Federal Government, under His Excellency, Ebele Goodluck Jonathan, Federal Might was solidly behind him, it was federal might that weakened and finally thwarted the plans of former
Governor Amaechi against Wike.

In any state, where a sitting governor failed in his plans to install his anointed successor, check very well, there is always a federal might against it. His Excellency, former Governor Ihedioha  will not have such luck in 2027 General Elections because he's not part of the ruling APC led Federal Government.

Imo State governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma has almost 99 percent chances to influence who becomes his successor, but that is not the focus of this piece. Our focus on this piece is; Ihedioha, the only politician uzodimma should not allow to succeed him.

There are a thousand and one reasons why Imo State Governor, Senator Uzodimma, should not allow Ihedioha to succeed him but, it will be summarised into three categories.

For his perceived style of politics, which appeared in three categories,  vindictive, unforgiven and mischievous. From a bird eye view, it appears he plays politics of demonization.

Uzodimma should learn from what His Excellency Rt.Hon. Emeka Ihedioha and PDP leadership championed by him as the leader of the party in the state did against former APC, administration under  Governor Rochas Okorocha with politics of demonization, he was the one who painted the Akachi Tower black, making it look evil before  Imolites, telling  them it was where Okorocha buried the juju he used to tie Imo   People. Ihedioha and his boys played politics with Godly things  He condemned galvanized pipes used for road beautification calling it a dead trap but when it was removed, his people allegedly sold it,  these and so many mischievous misrepresentations he did, to blackmail, rubbish and destroy the hard earned reputation of Okorocha..

Is record that former Imo State Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha received the highest heat, blackmail, unwarranted provocation, worst media attacks as a seating governor, PDP, leadership under ihdioha was highly instrumental to that. Now that PDP leadership is under Senator Samuel Anyanwu, you can attest with me that they're addressing issues, not name calling, blackmail and demonization.

We all know that Ihediioha  was the one that Instituted the Panel of Enquiry against former APC administration led by Okorocha, at his pleasure, his boys waited for him at the airport to waylay him, with Uche Onyeagocha and others working to please him, they invaded his privacy without search warrant and other insulting, assaulting and acts of molestation carried against him without respect to the temple where Okorocha has presented his matter.

Your Excellence, my brother and my in law,  pulse and ponder on this; if Ihedioha should do all these to Owelle Okorocha, whom he succeeded  without any hurt  from him, imagine what he will do to you that removed him from seat through the temple of Justice. There's a maximum that says; 'if crocodile could eat its own shells, what will it not do to the flesh of a frog".

One big reason why you should do all within your power to ensure that he did not succeed you is because of his perceived politics of demonization, the destruction of your image,  legacy projects, peace of mind, your political career, including molestation of your pretty wife my sister, it  will be unparalleled and monumental because he will certainly do what he knows how best to do.

Why you should think twice, is because there is  possibility that  what happened to Okorocha under Ihedioha will be a child's play compare to what he may do to you if he succeeds you. Certainly; he will go all out against you to ensure you rotten in prison. If he was planning to jail Owelle Okorocha who did not do him anything, his moves against you will be irreversible and irrevocably until he achieves his heart desires. Am sure he will ban you from entering Imo State,  you know the power of an executive governor, what he can do with security operatives and hired crowd, be ready to expect the worst humiliation and molestation of your life. An Igbo adage says; "mmevo emevoro Ogaranya ka ogbugbu egburu ya."

We can't forget, Ka Open, which he influenced and later compensated Uche Ogbuagu with PDP Ticket for Ikeduru State, Constituency, what of Jideya, which he also allegedly influenced, because after that Onyeagocha and others started waiting for Okorocha at the Airport to catch him or mob him to death. All these happened to to Okorocha as a sitting senator under the ruling APC, Administration of President Bola Tinubu.

When we talk about politics of demonization, it means a systematic evil mannerism of presenting individuals, groups, or ideologies as evil, threatening, or morally reprehensible, always to achieve political goals or manipulate public opinion.

This is seen in always apportioning blames to a particular group or individual for societal problems, dehumanization*: Stripping individuals or groups of their respect,  humanity, dignity, or value, using badly polluted comments, statement or languages   to influence public opinion against a perceived opponent, propaganda*: Spreading biased or misleading information to shape evil public perception.

The  consequences of politics of demonization can include divisions within society, discrimination,
Inciting violence against targeted individuals or certain political party.

Politics of demonization makes the victim to be a symbol of negativities, incompetence and mediocre in the eyes of the people negative presentation, statements, comments against designed to  ridicule and destroy his image and personality.

In the second phase, we shall be looking at the disastrous effects of politics of Mischievous and why you should disallow a  politician with mischievous mindset to succeed you  in any position.
