In a society where respect for authority and spiritual leaders is paramount, criticizing a man of God can lead to spiritual attacks, curses, or demonic influences. As Christians, we must be mindful of our words and actions, ensuring they align with biblical teachings.
The Bible warns against speaking against those anointed by God, and we ignore this warning at our own peril. It's unfortunate that most Christians are not rooted in the Scriptures; they are ceremonial churchgoers, not loaded with knowledge but loaded with ignorance. This explains why many Christians disobey God's word, speak, and behave anyhow. The Holy Book was absolutely correct when it says, "My people perish for lack of knowledge."
Recently, Evangelist Ebuka Obi called out Barr. Mrs. Ogechi Amuchienwa, whose husband was exhumed in a controversial manner, and pronounced: "Those involved will begin to have problems until the matter is settled; we are going to follow the case with our legal team."
Negative reactions and ridiculous comments on Evangelist Ebuka Obi from supporters of the exhumers of Late Chief Donatus Ifeanyichukwu Amuchienwa and the legitimate wife of the deceased, Barr. Mrs. Ogechi Henrietta Amuchienwa, as seen on various Ishi Ubomiri village and kindred social media platforms, have further proven the high level of biblical ignorance of those behind the exhumation regarding the identity, divine position, and spiritual authority occupied by a servant of God like Evangelist Ebuka Obi.
Their negative comments were highly disrespectful and an obvious sign of their unrepentant hearts. While some mocked and laughed at the wife of the deceased and Ebuka Obi in an insulting manner, as seen on some Ishi Ubomiri village and kindred WhatsApp platforms, others stupidly alleged that Barr. Mrs. Ogechi Amuchienwa lured Ebuka Obi to intervene in the matter.
They are also boasting of strong connections, financial capacity, and backing from powerful individuals from Ishi Ubomiri, particularly the one they described as a big masquerade in the world of Information Communication and Technology.
These comments have sparked outrage and heavy condemnation among community members and sympathizers of Ogechi Amuchienwa. The insulting comments made against Barr. Mrs. Ogechi Amuchienwa about lobbying Ebuka Obi into the case are baseless and without evidence. It can best be described as the voice of drowning oppressors.
It's unclear what motive she would have to lure Ebuka Obi, a respected spiritual leader, into this matter. Ebuka Obi's intervention is fully driven by a desire to see justice served and the rights of the deceased and his family respected.
It's concerning to see individuals resorting to insults and baseless allegations instead of addressing the real issues at hand.
The actions of those behind the exhumation and their supporters raise questions about their intentions and respect for the deceased and his legitimate wife. Ebuka Obi's decision to intervene in this matter is a testament to his commitment to justice and standing up for the vulnerable. His efforts, combined with legal assistance, were aimed at bringing resolution. The world awaits the outcome of this development.
Talking against Ebuka Obi and his sincere intervention in this matter is a clear invitation to a curse; those running their mouths cannot escape the reality of that curse.
Here are some biblical examples of individuals who spoke against a man of God and faced consequences: Miriam and Aaron spoke against Moses, criticizing his leadership and marriage. God punished Miriam with leprosy, and she was isolated for seven days (Numbers 12). Dathan and Abiram rebelled against Moses and Aaron, questioning their authority. God opened the earth, and they were swallowed alive (Numbers 16). Saul disobeyed God's command and spoke against Samuel, leading to his rejection as king (1 Samuel 13, 15). Another example was Shimei versus David: Shimei cursed David and threw stones at him. Later, David's son Solomon had Shimei executed for his actions (2 Samuel 16, 1 Kings 2:36-46).
These examples show that speaking against a man of God can have serious consequences, even if the person is not perfect. God protects and vindicates His anointed servants. The reality of a curse placed on an individual by an anointed man of God is a serious and complex topic.
According to biblical teachings, an anointed man of God has authority and power to bless or curse, and their words can have significant consequences
When an anointed man of God pronounces a curse, it can have serious effects. In the Bible, we see examples of anointed men of God pronouncing curses on individuals or groups, such as Balaam's attempt to curse Israel (Numbers 22-24) and David's curse on the house of Joab (2 Samuel 3:29). These examples illustrate the potential impact of a curse spoken by an anointed man of God.
Following ridiculous comments flying from the unrepentant oppressors of Ogechi Amuchienwa, they have already brought a curse into their lives; they are now carriers of spiritual leprosy.
Criticizing a man of God can also have natural consequences, such as financial struggles, health issues, or relational problems. We must consider the potential impact of our words before speaking out because of the spiritual consequences, which can lead to demonic influences and a weakened spiritual foundation. We must be cautious and prayerful in our words and actions against servants of the living God because the reality of curses from them and their consequences are real.
Time and season will surely tell how their disgraceful and disastrous end will be.
