The recent familiarization meeting between Hon. Barr. Jerry Egemba, the Commissioner for Industry, Mines and Solid Minerals, and Imo dredgers has marked a significant turning point in the relationship between the state government and dredgers. The meeting, which was aimed at creating a new positive path for mutual understanding and advancement, has been hailed as a commendable move.
It was indeed a new era of cooperation, mutual understanding and progressiveness. Commissioner Egemba's approach to the meeting, which emphasized reconciliation, mutual understanding, and sanity, has been praised by dredgers.
