In what appeared like a clear appreciation of superlative performance and endorsement of productive leadership, the entire members of owerri Sports Club have reelected Comrade Sir, Uchenna Nwokeji and his entire Executive members for a second term in office.
The reelection which took place inside the Hall of Owerri Sports Club on Wednesday 30th of April was witnessed by majority of the members.
Delivering his speach, the reelected
President of the Club, Comrade Sir, Uchenna Nwokeji, expressed gratitude to the members of the club for their massive endorsement of his second term and his EXCO, stating that, is a clear prove of their trust and confidence in his leadership abilities.
Filled with appreciation, the president lauded the incredible members of the club for electing him as their president, saying ; he is honored to lead the club and will continue to be committed to the aims, objectives and agenda of promoting unity, team work, peace, progress and development of the club.
He acknowledged the dedication of his executive members and all the members of Owerri Sports Club who make the club to thrive.
Pleased by their passion and commitment , the president, promised to
foster a culture of inclusivity, respect, patriotism, sportsmanship and success, strengthen healthy relationship between member and stakeholders for progress of the club.
Comrade Sir Nwokeji maintained that sustainability and growth of the club remains his top priority, stating that he is excited to work together with his Exco and entire members of the club to achieve the aims and objectives of the founding fathers of the club, make the club a better place for everyone and a shinning example of a sports club.

The president of the club who noted that during his first tenure he tried his best to improve the financial strenght of the club as well as the membership strenght urged the members to
continue to strive for excellence and continous positive impact in the club .
