His Royal Highness Eze Ali Nnamdi Desmond, Obi II of Obinoha Autonomous Community in Mbaitoli Local Government Area of Imo State, has raised an alarm about the mischievous activities of one divorcee, Lotanna Eze, who parades with fake documents of her former husband, Late Chukwuemeka Eze from Enugu.
Speaking to newsmen in Owerri, he disclosed that Lotanna Eze, the third wife of Late Mr. Chukwuemeka Eze, was reportedly thrown out of her matrimonial home by her late husband for alleged insincerity and lack of decent behavior. The monarch stated that she moves from one top personality to another with sympathetic stories and fake documents of her late husband's property, seeking help to indirectly authenticate her fake documents and finally grab and sell the man's property, which is in the custody of the first son and the first and second wives of her late husband.
According to the Traditional Ruler, if you discover a lack of originality in her documents and refuse to help her, she will quickly turn against you with unimaginable blackmail in the media. His words: "I got to know her in Abuja through Mr. George Elumelu when the children of Late Mr. Chukwuemeka Eze were about to dispose of their father's property to resolve the liabilities their father left for them."
"I told her, as a monarch, I don't involve myself in acting as an agent or helping someone to get a buyer for his property. However, on the issues she raised about intimidation and denial of her rights, I can help within my capacity and network of good friends. When Elumelu came to my office with her, she lamented about a series of intimidations, exclusion, and denial of her rights and privileges as someone married to Late Chukwuemeka Eze."
"She told me she was not legitimately divorced. After listening to her, I was moved to help her fight for justice, but I didn't know she was legitimately divorced until we approached the court through our legal team. That was when I discovered that she was legitimately divorced and had hidden it from someone who wanted to help her."
According to reports, she has carried these documents to Abuja Geographical Information Service and other relevant agencies but was chased out because they were totally fake, and her request was against the extant laws of the land.
The traditional ruler revealed that the only reason she went all out to blackmail him was simply because, immediately he became convinced that her stories were filled with lies and all the documents she presented were fake, he seriously warned her not to near his office again or be ready for arrest and prosecution.
